SEO is a never-ending rabbit hole if you fall for the nonsense. Every week, there’s a new trend or hack that’s supposedly the “secret” to ranking higher. But here’s the thing, SEO is dead! Was it ever alive?
Search engines are not fooled by keyword stuffing, spammy links, or optimized content. What they care about is whether your site is clear and useful. It’s not about outsmarting algorithms, it’s about creating something that makes sense for real people.
If you’re sweating over keyword density or complex SEO strategies, stop. Just focus on the basics. A clear, descriptive title and simple HTML markup can do more for your site than any overpriced tool or elaborate backlink campaign. A page titled “How to Fix a Leaky Faucet” will always perform better than one stuffed with nonsense like “Leaky Faucet | Fix Plumbing | Water Repair Tips.”
The same goes for the structure of your site. Use proper HTML, like headings and alt tags for images. These aren’t just for search engines, they make your site easier to read and understand for everyone.
SEO doesn’t have to be a game of constant guesswork. Write content people care about, label it clearly, and ensure your site is fast and functional. That’s it, SIMPLE! Forget all the gimmicks. Simplifying your approach will save you time, money and give you better results.
SEO is dead. Just write good titles and use proper HTML markup.
